I guide students in making an inner connection by turning their attention inward and focusing on the breath. I give equal attention to alignment and adjustments of the physical body as well as making conscious connection with Spirit and Soul. What I love about my work is that I know people will always feel better in their bodies after a weekend or week or yoga practice. This is completely reliable. It is so great that we are able to work hard, breathe fully, have a deeply energizing experience and leave the room feeling totally refreshed.
Thomas Michael Fortel is a longtime yoga practitioner/teacher, influenced by the Iyengar, Ashtanga, and Anusara styles of Hatha yoga, and drawing from his devotional experience in Bhakti yoga. He travels widely, sharing his love for yoga.
